I hope you had a great summer! Welcome to the sixth grade I am looking forward to meeting each one of you. I teach both math and science and some of you may have me for one but not the other so pay attention to the website and how the assignments are posted so you are sure to get the right assignment. This year will be an adventure as we explore a brand new math textbook series. In science class we will be learning about earth science. This will cover topics from rocks, earthquakes, and volcanoes to the solar system and the weather.
I know you must be excited about starting 6th grade this year. It will be extremely important that you keep up with your agenda planner daily to help you stay organized. Each 6th grade teacher will have your homework assignments posted in the class for you to copy down during the Bell Ringer time. Staying organized equals less stress for students and parents alike!
I will keep my website up to date with both classroom assignments and homework. The assignments for the week will be posted on Monday. You can print it out for the whole week or check it daily. If you are absent, please be sure to check the website for any missing class work or homework.
